Mariner is a place for homeschoolers to receive comprehensive help with their homeschool education. We work with parents to develop an individualized curriculum for each student, taking into consideration all core subjects, the students’ strengths and interests, and their general career direction.
Every day, we cover the essentials with math and english workshops, and at least once a week, we offer middle school science and history electives. For high schoolers, all classes required for a state-issued diploma are available.
In addition, we offer biweekly field trips, daily devotionals, and life-skills electives like personal finance, cooking, and mechanics, all to ensure that students are prepared to navigate a successful & productive Christian life.
The Mission of Mariner Learning Collaborative is to help parents and students navigate their homeschooling based on Christian values in an environment that supports real-world, individually-paced learning in a structured but flexible setting.
Each student has an individual learning plan that meets them where they are and a schedule that suits their family’s needs. Their progress is monitored on an individual level, without standardized tests. This means:
Sure, steady, relevant learning
No redundant work for students ahead of the curve
No impossible tests for students behind the curve
Flexibility in times of need, sickness or travel
