Meaningful Education, Christian Community, Flexible Approach
Welcome to Mariner Learning Collaborative
Mariner Learning Collaborative is a non-profit learning center for ages 10 to 19 that combines the most valuable parts of homeschooling and school (classes, peers, and mentors) with personalized attention and the freedom to choose what and how you learn.
At Mariner, there is no mandatory or predetermined curriculum taught. Instead, we offer diverse, engaging, and optional classes, workshops, and tutoring that are taught by staff, parents, community volunteers, and even our members.

Our Mission
Mariner Learning Collaborative empowers adolescents to navigate their own educational journey through personalized attention and the freedom to choose what and how they learn. Mariner helps families break free from the restrictions of school and empowers adolescents to pursue learning that is exciting and meaningful to them.
- Does your child feel like a square peg trying to fit into the round hole of conventional school?
- Are they bright but bored in school?
- Do they have learning differences that make school difficult?
- Do they struggle with the social atmosphere?
- Do they struggle with anxiety?
- Do they have a serious pursuit like dance or theater that is hard to balance with a rigid school schedule?
- Do they have a medical condition that makes attending hard?
- Do they hate homework?
- Do they struggle to sit still and listen all day?
- Do they see school as a waste of time or a hindrance to their goals?
